TagStudio Version
9.5.0 (pre- release1)
Operating System & Version
Win11
Description
The newly added autocorrect in 9.5 seems to only be able to auto correct to default tags and no user made tags
like in one of my library's if you search sylveon you will only ever get it to show a result for "s" as it find something called "special:untagged" instead of the sylveon
Expected Behavior
the expected behavior is that it finds smth like 10 of the most similar tags and surfaces them to the user
Steps to Reproduce
uh basically just have a custom library with its own tags and then try to search for one (it wont show it to you)
Logs
No response
The autocomplete wasn't built to show tag auto-completions without the tag: prefix. It should be possible to implement, but it would involve actually making that feature.
The search bar was originally planned to get a much bigger rework in 9.5 but that's been pushed to at least 9.6. When that takes place then tag auto-completion without the need for a prefix should be the norm.
i see (altho when a user is going to try searching for smth they arnt exactly going to thing to add "tag:" first, so it comes off as a bug when its acculy a missing feature i suppose) ((er yaknow cuz i thought i was a bug not a missing feature))
