[Bug]: Taskbar Icon Missing

Description

It seems i Mandela effected my self into thinking this app ever had a icon on the task bar which apparently it never did, so i guess ill make a feature request so it has one now instead of the default "this is definitely a program" icon. its especially odd cause the executable has an icon but not the taskbar

Solution

Just give it the executable icon or something, better than default

Alternatives

you can leave it, if anything due to this being a minor gripe compared to.. i unno that one bug that freezes the program if you link a tag to it self showing up again.

The Windows executable should have an icon. Can you send a screenshot of what it looks like for you?

Does restarting your computer or re-installing the program solve the issue for you? And are you using the portable or non-portable version?

ive only ever used portable versions of this program, and no rebooting never fixes it.

i'd check with a non portable version but i don't wanna deal with a Microsoft defender fiasco cause it doesn't like this update for some reason (though maybe that issue is limited to the portable version)

The portable exe has an icon on it but the taskbar instance doesn't. Win 11, Alpha v9.5.6
