License key shows "License Expired" error on Linux but works on macOS
Hello, I'm experiencing an issue when entering my license key in TablePlus for Linux. When I input the license key, I receive a "License Expired" error message. However, when I use the same license key on macOS, it works without any problems.
Could you please help me resolve this? Let me know if you need any additional information, such as logs or my license details.
Thank you!
I have the same problem. How can I downgrade the version? I tried to find in repository , but there is only the current version.
Same issue for me, on Windows we can downgrade but it seems like you cannot use an old build with Linux. "Buy once, use forever" isn't true for Linux :)
And I can't export to another SQL Editor, TablePlus is just completely blocking me right now.
Having the same issue (Ubuntu). Version 1.3.7
"On Linux" isn't very specific, but assuming x86, you can find all the AppImages that have been cached by the Wayback Machine here. They only cached two of the x86 builds, though: 264 (1.2.6) and 266 (1.2.8).[^fn1] Hopefully that's old enough to get up-and-running again. Of course old bugs will come back again if you do that, so it's not ideal…
@torresjr94dev I might be able to help more if you share which CPU architecture, which Linux distro, and whether you had been using the AppImage or native packages.
Hopefully @huyphams and the team will be able to look at this soon, because I had wanted to start using the fully-licensed version for work, but this gives me pause.
The Wayback Machine can be helpful[^fn2], but it's not foolproof. The best thing to do for proprietary software is download the package for yourself and keep copies, because there's little commercial incentive to keep old copies around on the Internet. Some day civilization will be rebuilt like this, from copies of old software in someone's "Downloads" folder. :)
[^fn1]: TablePlus version numbers are a bit confusing on Linux, because there appears to be a build number like 282 and a more conventional version number like 1.3.7, and the Debian packages use 0.1.<build> as their version number. [^fn2]: Consider donating to the Internet Archive next time the Wayback Machine helps you out in circumstances like this.
Hi, all the previous versions can be downloaded on our the change logs https://tableplus.com/osx/changelog
We only published the App Image recently

Oh, ha, all the old AppImage releases back to 264 are at https://tableplus.com/blog/2020/01/changelogs-linux.html anyway! I take back what I said!

This issue pertains to the Linux version, though… Thanks for having a look.
