Unable to connect to MySQL database

Version: TablePlus 1.2.6 (264) System: Ubuntu 24.04.2 running on WSL2 Database: MySQL running in local docker container

When connecting to a MySQL database TablePlus doesn't use the provided password. After trying to test or save the connection, the password field is cleared. I think it clears the input before saving it. Results in the same error:

@IP-Developer Have you been able to reproduce this with newer versions? How about with a fresh installation under a throwaway user account?

I've been using TablePlus with MySQL under very similar circumstances (Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04, though), and haven't seen this particular problem. Not to say you haven't discovered something, just to say I can't corroborate.
