Question about MenuSitemap and MenuSitemapPages

Hi there, all pages menu content elements have a media field in the JSON output with the media file of the page. Why does the MenuSitemap and MenuSitemapPages does not have media but instead images? Is this intended or just an oversight?

This kinda prevents me from treating all page menu content elements the same in the frontend.
