Page is split into 4 degrees of grey on zoom

When I zoom in any document (example), the page shows the following:

This looks like your local problem. Please test on another android or share the file

After your post, I tried fiddling with the settings and it turns out that this happens when brightness (All Settings - User interface - Brightness) is below 100%. The lower you set it, the stronger the shades.
