cannot find macros

Jump to tag (ctrl+t ctrl+t) on a C macro function manages to open the correct file but is unable to find the line containing the definition. The macro function entry can be found in the .tags file

Environment: Sublime Text 2 with CTags 0.4.0 installed via package controlled. OSX 10.10.5
