Important use for assistant is navigation.

"Take me to [query]" "Navigate to..." "Directions to..." "Where is..." "Show me [search] on the map"

Very good idea ! It would be nice if we could define in the application the navigation application to use by default 😁

Android already allows the user to decide which maps application handles geo intents. What is the reason to add a 2nd layer of configuration within this app? Would a user want Dicio to use one maps application, but other apps on the OS to still ask the user which maps app to use?

I'll take my example, I'm on miui 13 android 12 and apart from basic apps such as phone, message, browser etc I can't select an app to open by default :/ And since I have several map applications etc, it would be very practical

Try installing another maps app (or uninstall/reinstall an existing one). On a normal Android OS that would ask you which maps app to use on the subsequent attempt to launch one.
