FWIW, the old URL for the app note (https://www.pkware.com/documents/casestudies/APPNOTE.TXT) should always be set to redirect to the current location of the app note. We moved a lot of the documentation files into cachefly and redirected requests there so we could deliver the files faster. Let me know if it doesn't redirect properly, because that's breakage. If, at some point, we left cachefly for some reason (no such move even contemplated ATM) the cachefly URL will break, but the other will always get you to it.
