Can't start minimized

No matter what I do in settings, I can't get the server program to start minimized when starting when Windows starts. Also, Volume up and Volume down in MEDIA does not work. Others like MUTE and Next and Previous works fine. Any help?

Windows 7 Home Premium, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5 3.2Ghz Samsung Galaxy I9506, rooted with Daydream 1.8 KK 4.4.4, Feb. 16th 2014

Had the same problem ever since upgrading the Remote Control Server to v 3.0.3.7. Every single time I sign into the desktop, I get a popup with the settings dialogue box open and it's really getting annoying after three weeks.
