Non-server script for depth2img?

Hello, I'm curious to try the depth2img functionality, but it seems like the example command runs a persistent server which allocates VRAM up front. This doesn't work for my use-case of on-demand generation. Could a script be provided that runs similarly to txt2img or img2img, exiting after generating? I'm really liking the results from txt2img and img2img so far!
