Question: Using Blender3d as an editor?

Looks like someone made an blender addon: "An addon to allow external real time engines (e.g. game engines) to use Blender as an editor and allow for closer integration. " Link-> https://github.com/Kupoman/BlenderRealtimeEngineAddon and looks like they made an integration with Panda -> https://github.com/Moguri/BlenderPanda I dont know how good it is or, if it works, but its interesting concept. What do you think, about integrating Neo to use blender as an editor. That would save some time and you could then focus the engine part instead on the editor features. I see benefits in here, like using the blender community as testers and eventually get more Neo users and game developers base!

I dont think that's going to happen because sponk has put too much effort into making the editor.But that does not mean that your idea is bad. For example Libgdx has a 3D engine based on Blender's GUI.
