Port randomly resets

Open JokerQyou opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug I manually set the port to 7891 and 7890, but sometimes (usually after Clashy has been running for a few days) Clashy automatically reset its ports to 2341 and 2340. There is no crash, no restart. I just suddenly lost Internet connection (because the system proxy was set to 7891 and 7890), and when I manually open the main window of Clashy, the ports were changed.

To Reproduce I have not yet found a reliable way to reproduce this issue.

Expected behavior Ports are expected to persist, and not to change.

Screenshots Not applicable.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Linux.
  • OS version: Manjaro 20.
  • Distribution (if needed): Manjaro.
  • Clashy Version: 0.2.0. AppImage variant downloaded from release page.

Additional context Nothing yet.

Sorry about any inconvenience, this is a known issue. Clashy added Clash core reboot in the recent update which will re-spawn clash core on any unexpected exits. This may reset port configs due to port configurations are not persisted.

I will fix this in the next release but I can't guarantee when it will be released. Been busy with other stuff in real life (sigh).

Will ping you on this issue when it's done.

Thanks for the feedback 🙏.
