I have rio fully working on rpi3 with raspbian full operating system, I can simultaeneously plug my cheap generic webcam into the USB of the rpi then in VLC media player find my capture device named as /dev/vide0, clicking play duly brings up the live camera image titled v412:///dev/video0 this all works without me having to find any drivers so I would like to see this camera image appear on the matrix. Perhaps some kind of path leading to a option in rio-server/index.js ...GetStreamdata ...from v412:///dev/video0 or whatever.

This would open up a world of extra possibilities NB this cheap composite to usb adaptor uses the same driver as the generic webcam i,m using.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Easycap-USB-Audio-VHS-to-DVD-Converter-Capture-record-analog-video-to-digital-KY/112712110682?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I dont think the picture quality would degrade using composite video given our current screen resolution of 30 mm. Thanks Dave

That sounds like a really cool use of rio. We actually had a similar one way back but never got around to it. If you're handy with JS you could always have a go at writing an input for a realtime capture stream. We're always happy to see pull requests ;)

I can see inside... rio-server/inputs/video-worker.js that it says.... const ffmpeg = require('fluent-ffmpeg');

I put the ffmpeg on but didnt put this "fluent-ffmpeg" on so I was going to add that and see where it takes me ???? Sorry but i,m fairly clueless on coding/javascipt but i,m a good copy and paster :)
