How do I update to 12.1?

The April fork updated everything but the monero daemon.

I also noticed that the deploy script is only at 11.1

What is the process to upgrade the daemon? I tried to rerun the script after I changed it to 12.1 but now it didn't with and my API module is missing.

the deploy script is pretty much broken and abandoned (someone needs to PR a working version), you have to download it and make the appropriate changes yourself
