Bug: scaled object in project is scaled again on reopening project in 3d printing

Open yobryon opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

🐞 bug report

Affected Version(s)

Observed in 4.9.1

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 3d printing and import a model (observed with both STL and OBJ models)
  2. Select the object and go to the scaling tool
  3. Ensure Uniform Scaling is checked, and enter a scaling factor in percent (i.e., 120%)
  4. Note the resulting size of one of the dimensions now after scaling (i.e., X is 144mm where the original model was 120mm)
  5. Save the project
  6. Open the project you just saved
  7. Select the model and again go to the scaling tool
  8. Result: the X dimension is now 172.8mm with the scale % field showing 120%.

The model seems to have saved in the scaled dimensions, and then applied the scale factor again upon open.

Expected behavior When opening a saved project, the models in the object retain the dimensions with which they were saved.
