Set PWM to 5%

I would to know, if is it possible to set PWM of Cp Signal to 5%? Due to digital communication. I actually make some changes in setCurrent() and put the DutyCyle to 5/50, but it didnt work.

I've also tried to set the PWM to less then 10%, but my Nissan Leaf immediately disconnects the connection if it receives a PWM less then 10%. It's not defined in the standard.
