zip files - extract selected files - extract not always create new folder

Currently using pixel 4 on calyxos. Currently: Default file manager: I can extract selected files from within a zip file to any folder without creating a separate folder. simple file manager: I can only extract the entire contents of zip file, not selected included files. Extracted files are automatically placed in a new folder at the selected location.

In my mind these are 2 questions: 1: is there any chance we can extract only selected files from a zip file to the destination? 2. Is there any chance we can extract to a destination folder without automatically creating a new folder on zip file extraction?
