Requires to be default phone app, to make a call
When I try to make a call to a contact, it asks to select a phone application to do so. If I don't select an an app to be default phone caller, then it drives me to Android's "App info" and a floating messages asks me to set Simple-Dialer as default phone app. I want to be able to make calls with any application I like, including Simple-Dialer.

I arrived with link from F-droid: https://f-droid.org/es/packages/com.simplemobiletools.dialer/ You should comment fork facts to F-Droid project; otherwise how do I believe you about spyware?
@narcisgarcia There are two versions of simple mobile tools and the fork.
The github/f-droid one
- has not been updated in 2 years
- Not owned by the original creators
The playstore one
- Full of ads
- Exodus says it has 9 trackers
- a subscription plan and more
The fork
- currently maintained
- Has most of the same apps
