Selection of the "significant" letter for the default avatar image

I have chosen to display my contacts beginning with the last name and also keep them sorted by last name. If the honorable Sir (prefix) Elton (first name) John (last name) is my list of contacts, he will be dispayed as "Sir John, Elton". He is correctly sorted amongst my other contacts starting with 'J'. However since I do not have a photo of him stored im my contacts, Contacts displays the standard circle with the 'signicicant' letter as default "avatar". I strongly believe that this significant letter should be "J" (of John) not "S" (of "Sir"). Actually we might even write his name as "John Sir, Elton", because it makes easier to scan the list of users when the significant parts of their names are all aligned ("Sir" is quite honorable, but not really significant when scanning the list).
