Events with "My status: Not going" visually indistinguishable from other events
It is sort of confusing when declined events look exactly the same as confirmed events. I suggest to visually distinguish them in some way. E.g. Etar app grays out declined events, but of course strike through could work as well.

This is already supported, just scroll to the end of the event:
If you tap on "not going" it will show a dialog to change attendance.
As for the problem mentioned in previous reply: solved this by
- adding my email address as account name in DAVx5
- adding my email as attendee allowed me to set attendance status in simple-calendar as expected
Excuse the noise, since there were some misconceptions on my side as to how this works. Your issue of course remains valid and would love to see a visual differentiator for attendance status.
