Event types configuration does not persist

I have multiple calendars connected. One of them is corporate office365 calendar. I have configured color and name for it in Manage event types but it reverts after any change in calendar.

what app and OS version are you using? Are you syncing via DAVx5 or what service?

Same issue here. Using the outlook app one can sync their calendar to other apps on the phone. Outlook does not support custom calendar colours, and in Simple-Calendar it reverts back to the outlook colour it is set to. Possibly this means Simple-Calendar should not sync colour and name, or store them as custom-color and custom-name.

Hopefully something can be changed soon cause I want to use my special purple hex and not outlook purple.

Try checking your ICSx5 settings, for example in DAVx5 for each individual account, DAVx5 allows you to change the setting for "Manage calendar colors" from (1) 'Calendar colors are reset at each sync' to (2) 'Calendar colors can be set by other apps'. You have to use the second option now.

I am not using ICSx5 for Outlook. Outlook also does not support, from what I could find, connecting via DAVx5. I am using the Outlook App, that has an option to turn on Sync Calendar. This allows so other apps could use it.

@tibbi I am using latest F-droid version (6.17.0). Sync is done by Outlook app

Outlook now allows for changing the colour of calendars in the Web-App. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/personalize-your-calendar-experience-in-outlook-com-and-the-new-outlook-on-the-web-6b928c73-bb6f-43e3-a6ab-2643f190dce4 It seems to update in the app as well.
