ERROR / BUG: module button not-existant

When I press the module button there is no way for me to add my own custom block shown in the module preview. I have tried with different outputs/inputs, different names, but the result is the same; there is no button to save/load that custom module, so I am left unable to make custom modules, and I remain with a messy workspace :(
