Embed.aspx no longer working for Excel files

Tested in multiple browsers and multiple tenants

Describe the bug / error

Excel is not working in https://contoso.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/embed.aspx?UniqueId=. Other files are working fine.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create an excel file in sharepoint and fill in with some data.
  2. Go to the library view, right click on the file, and click Preview
  3. At the top, click Embed code
  4. Copy the Embed.aspx url and open it in a new tab

Expected behavior

A preview of excel should appear

@Circlet-ND, I can confirm that this has been fixed. We can able to preview document with Embed.aspx. Can you please confirm?

@Ashlesha-MSFT The screenshot shows an XML file, not an Excel file that the issue was about. Can you please check again that it's been fixed for xlsx, Excel, files? It doesn't work in the tenants I've tried.

@AndreasNorefalk, Just tested it again — the issue still persists for Excel (.xlsx) files. Let's wait for fix. Thanks for pointing this out.
