Crashes when loading texture

When I try to import a new/edited texture the application crashes.

1. Select the texture
2. Click Plugins > Edit > Load
3. Select the texture > Click OK
4. Select "Quality Setting" (I leave it on the default) . Click OK

That's how far I get, then the application crashes.
