[🐛 Bug]: Documentation does not define Large/Middle/Small Grid sizes
What happened?
My team is planning on upgrading the grid and reviewed the Getting started with Selenium Grid instructions.
For the two Grid configuration types, it describes sizes of Grid infrastructure that each type is appropriate for.
- Hub and Node(s) -> "These roles are suitable for small and middle-sized Grids."
- Distributed -> "This setup is more suitable for large Grids."
There isn't any definition of what the large/middle/small sizes represent. Could we update the documentation to know how it defines these terms? This might be important especially if the definition for these terms changed at all from the Grid 3 -> Grid 4 implementation. Teams may need to adjust their infra sizing or configurations when they upgrade.
At least one user has asked this on the user forums.
I got an answer for my team's own Selenium Grid setup of 280 slots distributed across 20 nodes being a middle size grid though it would require some powerful nodes/hubs to accommodate. That is accurate regarding our current Selenium Grid 3 setup.
