Very slow performance on macOS (Big Sur)

I am running macOS big sur (11.0.1) and the application runs extremely slowly, and even slows down the rest of my computer to the point where it became difficult to force quit the application.

Anyone else getting this behaviour?

i get it really slow on catalina too. 82% cpu usage

Same problem. I suggest a button to turn on/off the simulation. Maybe that infinite loop of simulating the circuits is the cause of the app's bad performance .

macOS Big Sur (11.2.2)

Update: I forked the repository and added a Run/Stop Simulation button but performance is still bad. I guess it has to be something with Unity.
