[epub_view] Support for internal linking within a document, not merely external links.

Open dwillardmo opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

I'd like to provide endnote support for an ePub doc by having links to an anchor id, for instance:

Link reference: <a href="FootNotes.xhtml#footnote-001">1</a> ID reference: <a id="footnote-001">1</a>

External linking works great, so this request is for internal linking within the ePub doc. Currently the link shows active, but nothing happens when it's clicked.

I'm seeing general support for this in standalone ePub viewers such as Apple's Books. I've noticed that on the Table of Contents feature in ePub_View, links only seem to work if I point to an entire HTML file, but not to hashtags within the file. Is this part of the same issue? Perhaps due to difficulty with scrolling?

Thanks for the great work that's been done on this package. Apologies if this has already been requested. I didn't see it listed.

I have same issue. And also navigation for EPUBs who have internal linking like example.xhtml#1 for chapter 1, example xhml#2 for chapter 2 in table of contents founded in toc.ncx are not working. The navigation works just if table of contents are like exmaple1.xhtml - Chapter/Section 1, example2.xhtml - Chapter/Section 2.

Did you find any solution?
