Input is required when conditionally hidden

We would like to make this component required when it is visible on the screen. I've set "Detailed Address Fields Required" to True and used Set Component Visibility to only show this component when a previous answer on the same screen is set to certain values. The conditional visibility works great, but it seems that the detailed address fields are ALWAYS required - even when the component is hidden from the screen. You cannot move to the next screen without specifying values in this component.

Is there any way to only require input when the component is visible?
