Show post title in place of board title

Expected Behavior

Upon updating PhpBB from 3.3.0 -> 3.3.3, the topics shown on Recent Topics changed from being the individual post title to the forum board title. I'm unsure if this is by design or due to a change by phpBB; in any case, is there a way for me to change it back to show the post title?
