Can't open Google Classroom app during the test
Hi, I always use SEB on iPad with satisfaction, to assign tests via Google Classroom. Usually I assign students a Google form and everything works great! This time the assignment required the use of the Google Documents app which is regularly installed on iPads. I'm looking for a way to make a good configuration exported as a QR code and I also found the setting that allows you to add allowed apps but you need the app ID. I put com.google.docs but I still can't open the app during the test in SEB.
maybe I have to respect the capitalization? and write exactly as indicated in the text file?
https://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=842842640
"bundleId":"com.google.Docs"
I assume that capitalization is relevant, yes.
You are aware that on iPad students will be able to access the file system and cloud drives from the Google Classroom app? Unfortunately the AAC multi-app Assessment mode doesn't block apps from that (and from SEB that's impossible on iOS), only blocking their internet access is possible (but I don't think that blocks cloud drive access as that is likely managed by the operating system).
It doesn't work, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I also tried writing the ID in case sensitive way but I still can't edit the document with the Google Documents app, so I guess it's still not allowed. This is what I see when I tap the pencil to edit. Of course the app is already installed on the iPad, SEB doesn't seem to know that

@danschlet Sorry, I think I misunderstood. What I want to do is not possible on iPad? How should I manage with SEB a task in Google Classroom with assignment of a Google document?
Now I had time to test this. You can add Google Classroom as an additional app for an exam with SEB. See the attached configuration file.
For Google Classroom, the lookup link for finding out its Bundle ID is https://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=924620788. This gets you its Bundle ID: com.google.Classroom (you looked up Google Docs instead).
For the additional app, network access has to be allowed. I don't know Google Classroom, so I don't have an idea if students can access stuff they shouldn't during an exam. At least it doesn't look like the Google Classroom app directly accesses the iPad file system.
But I saw that sharing at least links is not blocked by the AAC Assessment Mode. Don't know if students also could share exam content, you probably would need to find that out. I will report this security issue to Apple, in my opinion they should block the share picker or make it configurable while in the Assessment Mode.
