No epi data for CRS but epi data for contact of CRS case

Open SORMAS-EmelineJanigan opened this issue 8 months ago • 1 comments

Problem Description

When creating cases for congenital rubella, there is no epi data section. But when you create a contact of a CRS case, when you are in the contact person's form (via the original creation within the case), there is an epi data form. Unsure if this is correct

Reproduction Steps

  1. Log in
  2. Click case directory
  3. Create case of congenital rubella
  4. Click on contacts tab
  5. Create contact from contacts tab
  6. Once saved, see that epi data tab exists for contact

Expected Behavior

I think there should either be no epi data tab for the contact, or the epi data tab is missing for the original CRS case

@Christophe-SF would there be a reason or justification for this (no epi data for case but epi data from contact of case) from an epidemiological perspective?

@SORMAS-EmelineJanigan You have a point here. Basically, CRS is acquired during pregnancy, but the baby can infect others: so even if the exposure part of Epi tab is not necessary, in my opinion, the transmission risk part (activity labeled as a case) should be retained and thus the whole Epi tab.
