Hide the Influenza disease
Problem Description
There are several versions of the disease Influenza in SORMAS: Influenza, Influenza A, Influenza B, Influenza (new subtype). The newly created influenza A and B are an improvement on the first influenza and represent the full range of current human influenzas. The new variant influenza has specific characteristics that neither the flu nor its new forms (A and B) possess. On the other hand, it is possible within Influenza to select the A or B variant, or to select A+B coinfection.
Proposed Solution
Disable the disease Influenza to keep the infleunzas A, B and New variant.
Additional Information
No response
Deactivated "Influenza" and "Influenza (New Variant)" on qa.sormas.dev.
Next Steps: We need to switch them both off in the default server setup script that is being executed when installing a fresh SORMAS server.
We cannot completely remove them or deactivate them in the server update script as this may interfere with legacy systems when updating.
tested and still showing on obis server
@obinna-h-n obinna to fix to ensure influenza (new subtype) is not deactivated and not off by default in server script
"Influenza (New Variant)"
According to Chris original issue, influenza new variant needs to be active along with influenza A and B. Only Influenza gets deactivated
default configurations are now updated. but note, changes done through the disease config admin ui, takes precedence.
There was a misunderstanding so I am editing the github issue to reflect that we will disable Influenza A and Influenza B, in default config and we will keep Influenza (which allows users to select the subtype A, B, A+B) and new subtype in default config
Moving back to in progress for @obinna-h-n to disable influenza A and B in default config and enable Influenza and Influenza new subtype in default
Fixed and deployed to my personal QA server
