Check boxes to perform pathogen tests when creating sample do not result in any pathogen tests created
Problem Description
When checking off checkboxes to request pathogen tests while creating a new sample, nothing appears to happen once these checkboxes are ticked off. No pathogen tests get created despite having checked off several to be created in the sample form.
Ideally, when checking off 'request pathogen tests', pathogen tests would be automatically created from the checkboxes checked - e.g. if you check off antigen detection test, it would create one to be filled out
Reproduction Steps
- Log into SORMAS
- click on cases
- click on a case
- go into case form and click create sample
- create a sample of any kind
- while creating sample, click Request pathogen tests performed
- list of tests pops up
- check off all options
- save
- go to see samples for case
- see pathogen test box - NO pathogen tests were created ...

The checkboxes are only to inform the laboratory which tests they should be running. A pathogen test is only created once the lab has actually run it (either by a lab technician directly in SORMAS or through connecting the LIMS through the External Messages).
This is the expected behaviour, closing this issue.
After talking to Chris, these boxes do not really serve a purpose and will be removed in the future.
