Enhancement/Question -- Should all Field Data Types by present for Additional Questions? If not, please document that certain fields are missing or not possible due to limitations.
Have you shared this feature idea request in the Trailblazer Community? No, just level-setting as I am testing the new Summit Events Questions functionality.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. No, but can see questions and future requests for Salesforce Field Data Types that are not included with the initial Summit Event Questions. I acknowledge the record type were also not part of the original additional questions. Data Types that might be requested Currency Number Percent Picklist (Multi-Select) -- Make the Relationship To Institution field configurable. Date/Time Time
I would see less use case for the following field types. Geolocation URL
Describe the solution you'd like I would call out fields that are not included within the documentation as out-of-scope for the current release. And if there are fields with technical limitations, we call those out as not possible at the current time.
Describe alternatives you've considered Yes, I think we could map fields to Text fields to capture data, including numbers and currency.
To help determine if a recipe may be more appropriate, please share other use cases, if possible, this functionality would benefit from. This will not determine if it's developed, but help guide the team and community on where development begins.
Are you willing and interested in being engaged during the development and testing process? Yes
I will add, I can move a text field question from additional questions to a number field as long as it doesn't contain any alphabetical characters. If the field does contain any non-numbers, the page will not give an error message, you are just not allowed to progress forward.
