Optional field that provides "Dependent Picklist" functionality
There are use cases where the "Dependent Picklist" functionality is required on registration questions - such as if the student type = Transfer have a second question be about previous college attended, or if student type = Freshman then ask about high school attending. Providing the ability for people to set up a dependent picklist functionality in a pair of optional fields designed for this would solve this issue.
@jimhubert, do you have another use case? I believe what you mentioned does exist if utilizing the "College High School Ask" field. You can assume based on audience or if you're asking Applicant Type. THis is current functionality in UST EVents, so it may be just ensure it's functioning appropraitely.
The dependancy that I'm seeing is having the School selector appear on the registration page. So this may be a "break" that needs some attention.
This does have another use case for the additional questions that may get asked later. May be a separate issue, but allowing for dependent based questions would allow for a less intimidating registration form and allow for control of the event manager to capture appropriate information on related events with diverse audiences.
