http://mid.mail-archive.com/CAPweEDxwqufkAcaWmQa_0Pcm-KQ9cr+XfyqyeMXtcVg1Gt6YuA@mail.gmail.com gives a 404 for me.

this might work for you but you have to scroll down to the bottom not sure if there is a filter on that: https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc/2022-July/thread.html#239110

@bjorn3: Hrm, that URL does work for me. I do get a 404 if accessing via HTTPS; but this is plain HTTP (unless your browser is doing something funny maybe?).

The pipermail archives have the disadvantage that they don't follow month boundaries.

I see. I have my browser configured to attempt to upgrade all connections to https. ("HTTPS-Only Mode" in firefox. I believe chrome has a similar option.) Only if the connection doesn't work at all with https will it suggest to show the http version. Even using http:// manually won't show the http version if https works.

Disabling it just for that site didn't work. Disabling it globally did work and redirected me to https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg98463.html.
