c tags not alligned properly

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In section 3.4, in the third paragraph after the Java code block, tthere is what looks like a misalignment of c tags. This shows up in the book as

<``*Type*>``

but everything to the right of the second asterisk is not in c tag format.

Describe the solution you'd like Properly align the c tags and ensure the text in the book looks correct.
