Addon Sync Functionality

Is the purpose of this addon for when I I have several different video addons to watch movies/tv shows and I want to all of their settings that match each other between them to match or stay synced? I know some addons don't have some settings that another one does so that is what I'm concerned about. I'm referring to an addon like Venom compared to ones like Seren.
