Request: Customizable Account Deactivation Message
Problem Description
I received an automated e-mail from RocketChat, saying:
[First Name] [Last Name]
Your account was deactivated.
This got me confused. Why was my account deactivated? Can I reactivate my account? Who might I contact in case the account got deactivated accidentally? What does it even mean for an account to be deactivated? More information would have helped me understand the situation.
I have contacted the administrator and was told that while some automated messages can be customized, this message cannot.
Proposed Solution
Implement the possibility for the administrator to customize the above message, allowing them to provide as much context as possible.
This would be very useful indeed and is not possible as of 6.4.8. Useful for all Emails that Rocket.Chat sends, in fact.
