Script does not response to anything

Open ImaraSpeek opened this issue 6 years ago • 7 comments

Hi everyone!

I really love the idea of this functionality. I bought a roll20 premium description, I added the script in the APIs with the correct naming. But when I enter the command to important the character !beyond --import {character json} nothing happens. Also, when I type !beyond --help nothing happens. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get this to work?

I use Chrome

Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue. Though I did get it to work last night for one character sheet. Though today when I tried to import the rest the the characters of the group I have the same issue as above. I also am using Chrome. I did see that DnD Beyond started to update their backend of their character sheet GUI.

I just observed this in the game settings API Output Console Your scripts are currently disabled due to an error that was detected. Please make appropriate changes to your scripts and click the "Save Script" button and we'll attempt to start running them again. More info...

For reference, the error message generated was: Error downloading scripts (probably no scripts exist for campaign.)

Imara90 I found that my script was removed from the API library. You should verify it is still there. Screen Shot 2020-03-27 at 8 47 26 PM Screen Shot 2020-03-27 at 8 47 53 PM

Hey Christopher!

Thanks for your replies. I just verified, the script is still there. Did you get it to work?

I did however see that I was having the same issue, sorry for not noticing that before. The error is the following:

But i tried to import a new one today and the script ddoesn't repond at all. even !beyond help makes nothing as if there was no script at all. I disabled all the scripts except this one and all plug ins. the same.... i even reinstalled the script but it keeps doing nothing. in the Api windows !beyond is written as launched. any idea ? best` jp

My understanding is the project is abandoned.
