Find feature stopped working

When attempting to use the "Control + F" command, the search field appears, but nothing happens as I type. In other words... if I search for "car", car is not highlighted when typed in the FIND field as it should be.

Is the keyword text field active and displaying the text?

If you close out of the application and try again, does it work?

Does it happen with a specific file pr any files at your end?

I just re-read your question and understood what is going on. The search isn't "live", that is, it doesn't jump to text as it is being typed, instead you have to hit return to initiate the search.
