Cross compile

I have recently tried to cross compile gstreamer for omap3. my experience shows that this is not possible with gobject introspection turned enabled. the introspection as far as I understand creates the bindings for other languages. How would I go about cross compiling, creating the binding and adding vala to my system as well?
