Last Song in Album loops endlessly
Initial questions

Describe the bug
When listening to an album without the looping function enabled, it'll play the songs normally
Once it reaches the last song, however, it will keep replaying it until manually paused
I cannot replicate this issue in version 6.3.0
Expected behavior
Disabling the loop function should result in playback finishing at the end of the last song in the album.

This was already reported here with no response. I'm not sure how active development on this app is anymore considering a lot of glaring QoL issues are not being worked on. I wouldn't mind looking into it myself and trying to fix it but I'm currently a bit busy outside of work.
Actually I just noticed you mentioned you couldn't reproduce it in 6.3.0 which is interesting.
I'm having this same issue. Came to report it. I would help if I were good with Kotlin. I reckon it shouldn't be too hard, though, so I'll look into it.
i would look into this,, shouldn't be too hard to fix as you all said
@kittyifcat @pintert3 any help on how to replicate this? cant seem to do so on version 6.5.0
Was this a dupe of #1850..?
might be, this issue says it repeats the last song infinitely, but can't seem to reproduce
For what it's worth, I'm using the latest version from F-Droid and still encountering the issue. Not sure if the fix in that other issue made it to my version.
@peldas can you explain how i can replicate it? i tried it with an album having only one song, and it stops once it gets to the end, does the album need to have multiple tracks?
It's actually very consistent behaviour, no matter how few or how many tracks in the album or playlist, it will always loop the last track once it gets to the end of it. It's a bit hard to give reproduction steps since there's no pathway where it doesn't occur.
Are you using crossfade?
@tomaThomas i don't think your fix made it to store, it doesn't happen on debug but happens on production playstore store version,
lets wait for a new release, it should be fixed with it,
so we can mark this as a duplicate of #1850
I have crossfade set to 0 seconds.
