More IOS Friendly Mapping Experience

Background Many community members have requested the need for an IOS/Android drawing experience. Partners in Asian American associations in Illinois expressed that many of their older community members use phones and that they see going to people directly with a tablet as the primary outreach strategy for introducing Representable.

Kermit director of Oakland Forward also completed a user testing trial with African American communities in Pontiac MI. More than 60% of users were unable to complete the trial and the major reason was because of IOS interactions using the select tool (most users that later switched to a web interface were able to complete their mapping).
