Organizations (MI) want a clear explanation of how submissions could be sent directly to the commission.
From MI Partners: "The language should explicitly state that this site does not provide a submission directly to the ICRC but it could be more clear on how that might happen. Because much is unknown about the ICRC procedures, the following italicized text could be added to the closing paragraph: In the future, you will also be able to share your community with the Michigan Redistricting Commission and other policy groups. However, communities described and mapped on this site will not be automatically submitted to the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission. In the future you will be advised by email of the procedures to submit your community to the ICRC, if you choose to do so.""
@theodormarcu our MI partners said that they would want this for after the trial (based on the feedback tracker). Let's figure out where this is on the roadmap on friday.
