Blank "Error" Dialog

I'm not sure what the cause of this is, but I glanced down at my taskbar randomly just now and noticed my taskbar sensors had doubled - I should have one sensor for my CPU temperature and another for my GPU temperature, now I have two sensors showing for both.

Additionally, when I opened FanControl, I saw this: Image

Clicking "Ok" does nothing at all.

This is my log.txt file for when I have clicked "Ok" once: log.txt

And this is the same log for when I have clicked "Ok" a second time: log.txt

Notice how the file has basically doubled in size, all from just clicking "Ok" ONCE?!

I'm unable to exit FanControl via the context menu. I am going to restart my entire system and see if this problem persists - I'm hoping it's just a one-time thing, but we will see.

Upon restarting, it said that FanControl was preventing me from restarting, but clicking "Restart anyway" sorted that out. My duplicated sensors in my taskbar have disappeared and everything seems okay now.

Feel free to close this once you've looked over the logs etc. Unless you need me to provide anything else?

Your log suggests you may have an .NET 8 runtime installation problem, or just a FanControl installation problem, as it one of its component can't be loaded.
