Mission system
With the combination of the new XP sytem and market management, I would like to propose a new mission system. It could be as simple as "kill X biters/Spawners/worms and get 20% XP". Or perhaps, to trade 30k green chips and 10k stone at the market. Maybe to craft 500 LMG, 20k ammo and 250 turrets and hand them in at the market in order to get 50% of a level etc.
Bringing this idea back from the dead - now that we have cutscenes it could potentially be easier to implement:
