Importing the OS on VMware error.
Good night,
I'm trying to import the OS to VMware and I'm getting an error message of Failed to open virtual machine: System error: (Unknown exception) was wondering if anyone got this error as well?
@ArtistYay can you please share the system specs like OS, Workstation version (major + minor + patch) and if possible the logs for this particular import?

@wand3rlust Operating System: Windows 11 Home Version 23H2, OS build 22631.4169 Workstation: VMware® Workstation 17 Pro 17.6.0 build-24238078 Logs: VMware Logs.zip
@wand3rlust Any updates?
@ArtistYay, the issue seems to be in the VMware running on Windows 11. I recommend you use it with any other OS (Windows 10 or a Linux distro) as it's working there.
Let us know if switching to another OS worked for you or if you find a fix for this Windows 11 + VMware bug.
@wand3rlust So I have to spin up a VM to spin up RedOS, a VM?
@ArtistYay, unfortunately, this is a Windows 11/VMware Workstation issue and we can't do anything about it unless it's fixed by the vendor(s) itself. As an alternative, you can try using the VirtualBox (on Windows 11) to use the RedCloud.
@wand3rlust It's not working on Virtualbox as well
@ArtistYay I checked and indeed there was some issue with the VirtualBox. However, the VM was imported properly in the VMware Workstation Pro.
I would recommend you to reinstall your Workstation Pro & see if that fixes the issue.
@wand3rlust I love it. It works when I reinstall VMware. You have to love technology. I also built it from scratch using Parrot and Virtualbox.
@ArtistYay if this resolved your issue, feel free to close this issue.
