Use case: Conditional fields ?

Hello, just curious if this project is also usable for conditional field display. So, not for triggering alert messages only. Is it possible to trigger and manage other fields display. The logic seems to be very similar. Does it make sense to utilize a "validation" script for this purpose? Or are there any better alternatives?

Any thoughts and recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
